On July 9, 2025, the Social Media Ministry & IT/Tech Solutions Consultant Group of King Solomon M.B. Church of Yazoo City, Mississippi, extended a refreshing gesture of gratitude to the deputies of the Yazoo County Sheriff's Department and participants of their Summer Boot Camp. The initiative, known as “Popsicles for First Responders,” is part of the church's outreach ministry aimed at introducing people to Jesus Christ and inviting them to join worship services.
The church plans to extend this act of kindness to other local first responders, including the Yazoo City and County Fire Departments, the Local Police Department, and Paramedics. This initiative not only provides a cool treat on a hot day but also fosters a sense of community and appreciation for those who serve and protect.
The following members of King Solomon M.B. Church featured in the photo with the Yazoo County Sheriff's Department are Joshua Winters, Tristan Haymer, Teagan Echols, and Mother Pamela B. Wilson.
